AEVS TESTING CENTRE

The AEVS testing Centre offers services to help validate the previous academic status of students and appropriately place them into programs that they are looking to enroll in. The testing centre offers the following diagnostic and entry tests:

  •  General Education Development Test (GED
  • Secondary School Equivalency Test (SSET or TENS)
  • General Development Test (GDT)

Our Basic French class are designed to allow students to learn the basic French language set by the CCBF program of the Ministry of Education (MESS). Students are interviewed at the time of registration and we placed in homogenous classes according to their abilities.

Partnering with CRDITED (Centre de réadaptation en déficience intellectuelle et en troubles envahissants du développement), JFKAEC hosts both a work program (plateau de travail) and an arts program (plateau des arts). All participants in these programs work on individual objectives such as life skills and stress management in a classroom setting. Students in the plateau de travail develop skills they will be able to use in the workforce, while those in the plateau des arts create and sell their own artwork and participate in an arts-based program which includes music, dance, drama and more.
