AEVS (Adult Education & Vocational Training) schedule a consultation appointment

The EMSB AEVS testing centre offers services to help validate the previous academic status of students and appropriately place them into programs that they are looking to enroll in.  The testing centre offers the following diagnostic and entry tests:
 
  •  General Education Development Test (GED).  For students that are looking to achieve their equivalency for secondary 5 in order to obtain their high school leaving certificate and is recognized globally.

     

  • Secondary School Equivalency Test (SSET or TENS).  For students that are looking to achieve their equivalency for secondary 5 in order to obtain their high school leaving certificate; includes French and is only recognized in Quebec.

     

  • General Development Test (GDT).  This is an entry test for students looking to enroll into a vocational training program.
